nothanumber is a second phone number app for the UK. It gives you an extra UK mobile or landline number that lives inside one app on the phone you already own - no second SIM and no second handset required.
Can I get a second UK mobile or landline number?
Yes. You can choose a genuine UK mobile number or a landline-style geographic number and use it alongside your existing one, all from within the app.
Do I need a second SIM or a second phone?
No. Your nothanumber works inside the app on the phone you already have. There's nothing to put in your SIM tray and no extra device to carry.
Can I make and receive calls and texts?
Yes. You can make and receive both calls and SMS directly from within the app, on your second number, using your phone's normal speaker and microphone.
Will my personal number stay private?
Yes. You can hand out your nothanumber instead of your personal one - for work, selling online, dating or sign-ups - and keep your real number to yourself.
