Pricing
nothanumber keeps pricing simple: a small monthly fee to hold a number (from around £4.99 a month), with calls and texts charged for what you use from a single top-up wallet. It's pay as you go - no contract - and you always see the rate before anything that costs money.
What you pay for
- Number rental - a small recurring fee to hold each number, from around £4.99 a month.
- Calls and texts - charged as you use them, at the rate shown in the app (UK and international). Nothing that costs money happens without showing you the price first.
The wallet - pay as you go
Your account has one balance, the wallet, that covers everything you use - calls, texts and your number rental. You top it up with a debit or credit card, handled securely by our payment provider, Stripe; nothanumber never sees or stores your card details. Every top-up shows in your transaction history, and your balance updates straight away.
Plans for heavier users
By default calls and texts are pay-as-you-go from your wallet. If you use the service a lot, you can add a monthly plan or an all-in-one subscription that includes an allowance of minutes, texts and data for a single recurring price, which can work out cheaper.
Add-ons and what's free
- Call forwarding - an optional add-on at £5 a month, which includes 150 forwarded minutes; anything beyond that comes from your wallet at the standard UK rate.
- Voicemail - free to receive and listen to in the app.
- Quiet Hours (Do Not Disturb and Curfew) - completely free.
Travel data (coming soon)
eSIM data bundles for use abroad are on the way - you'll be able to buy them in the app, no physical SIM to swap. This isn't live yet; it's coming soon.
